Summer has come to an end, but that doesn’t mean you can’t plan for a water park adventure for next summer. Once the pandemic passes, you can make this trip a world tour!
Go easy and start in the United States with Aquatica in Orlando, Florida. There’s a beach area, wave pool, and 14 rides. Some are perfect for adrenaline junkies and others are great if you want to float down an artificial river in a tube. There’s plenty to do for both adults and kids, making this a perfect family getaway.
Aquaventure Waterpark (Dubai, UAE)
This water park is located inside of the Atlantis resort in Dubai. Not only are there the usual rides, but you can also visit the aquarium and watch shark feeding shows. At the park, enjoy 30 different rides. And since you’re in the UAE, you can buy a YEAR pass because every day there is perfect for water park adventures!
Beach Park (Brazil)
Beach Park is the most popular resort theme park in Brazil and the largest one in Latin America. One ride you definitely want to experience is the Insano. It once held the Guinness Book World of Record for “World’s Tallest Water Slide.” There’s also a ride called the Sky Capsule that drops people from 25 meters up. All you have to do is press a button.
Area 47 (Austria)
In America, we have Area 51. In Austria, there’s Area 47 and it features water slides surrounded by the Alps. If adrenaline-filled activities aren’t for you, you can also go rafting and canyoning. But, be advised, the last activity involves jumping, swimming, or climbing into canyon rivers. Beware, it can get chilly, so always be on the lookout for signs of hypothermia.
Caribbean Bay (South Korea)
If you’re visiting Seoul, Korea and you need a fun break from the city, head to the outskirts of town and spend a day at Caribbean Bay. Along with fun rides, wave pools, a lazy river, a beach, and a wading pool, this park also has a saltwater sauna. This means that the kids and teenagers can go enjoy high-energy rides while you sit and soak with a drink.
